Unbreakable Windows Vista
I brought my laptop to library this morning and I was trying to crash Windows Vista within one hour so I opened the applications below in my old laptop and guess what… I can still shut it down as normal.
My laptop specification:
Dell Inspiron 510m – Centrino 1.6GHz, 1.25GB RAM, 60GB Hard Disk, Intel Extreme Graphic Card 32MB, 2GB ReadyBoost Memory Stick.
Software started:
SPSS 13.0, 5 Visual Studio Windows with different projects open, SQL Developer Services, Oracle 10g Enterprise Services, Oracle Application Express, Reliability and Performance Monitor, MS SQL 2005 Management Studio, Acrobat 8.0, Microsoft Word 2007 and Windows Task Manager.
I keep on opening the windows, yet the physical RAM is keep on staying around 1.1GB and does not hit 1.25GB. This could deal to the ReadyBoost feature in Windows Vista. I do not guaranty everything will be working fine if I continue working with all the windows that I opened after the one hour but I am happy enough because none of them crash with error message because of Windows Vista and I can shut it down without any error too.
