You are viewing a feed that contains frequently updated content

When you are developing ADO.NET Data Services or WCF Data Services then you will have a file with svc extension. For the one here is WCFDataService.svc. Once you Browse this file using Internet Explorer (IE) then you will see the below.


In my case, if I type http://localhost/websitetestsvc/WCFDataService.svc/Beancurds then I expect to the below.


Somehow it has shown not error but funny RSS stuff like below and says “You are viewing a feed that contains frequently updated content. When you subscribe to a feed, it is added to the Common Feed List. Updated information from the feed is automatically downloaded to your computer and can be viewed in Internet Explorer and other programs. Learn more about feeds.”


Oh no, what went wrong??!! The story is you have to disable the RSS by uncheck the Turn on feed reading view by selecting Tools -> Internet Options.
