The maximum message size quota for incoming messages (65536) has been exceeded. To increase the quota, use the MaxReceivedMessageSize property on the appropriate binding element – When get the return from WCF Services.

If you hit the error message above and your Visual Studio looks like below.

Open web.config file and look for the basicHttpBinding and change maxBufferSize and masReceivedMessageSize like the follow.

    I am using wsHttp binding and I am getting same problem. Setting value for maxReceivedMessageSize is not a proper solution can u suggest anything.

    If i test from WCFTestClient, i am getting this message. Can i set MaxReceivedMessageSize for client from service configuration? Sasidhar Vasam
