AMD Announces New Mobility APUs

The 2013 AMD Mobility Accelerated Processing Unit (APU) lineup is a new set of AMD processors that addresses today’s evolving PC market with increased performance and power efficiency, on top of a portfolio of unique user experiences, and superior gaming and graphics:

  • AMD Elite Mobility APU Platform (“Temash”) – the world’s fastest quad-core x86 system-on-a-chip (SoC) designed for tablets, delivering the best experience for touch small form-factor notebooks, tablets, and hybrids 13-inches and below. This is inclsive of A4 and A6.
  • AMD Mainstream APU Platform (“Kabini”) – the first and only quad-core x86 SoC solution for entry-level and small-form factor touch notebooks. x86 here is including 64 bit processors. This is E1, E2, A4 and A6 APU.
  • AMD Elite Performance APU Platform (“Richland”) – new low power versions of our top-of-the-line APU, offering the best graphics and compute experience for premium ultrathin and traditional notebooks. This is A8 and A10 APU.
