Application Blocked by Java Security

This blog shows you how to resolve the “Application Blocked by Java Security” error.

When you see the Application Blocked by Java Security screen below.


This is because your Java run time version is too new instead of too old. So wither you uninstall the newer version and install back the previous version for example, Java 1.6 but some of your other applications may not run.

So the best solution is still add the exception to Java Control Panel.

1.     Open Control Panel click on the Java (32 bit).


2.     Click the Security tab.

3.     Click on Edit Site List…

4.     Click on Add then type in the url.
