This article shows you how to disable all the restrictions of your Windows Server of most of the version.

When you want to change password in Windows Server sometimes you will hit this error.

Change a password Unable to update the password. The value provided for the new password does not meet the length, complexity, or history requirements of the domain.

This could be because of you use the previous password, your password length, or other factors.

You will hate this because of you just want a sandbox to do testing like me.

So disable everything and set everything to 0.

Go to Group Policy Management and Local Security Policy.

Disable everything and set everything to 0 in Local Security Policy.

 password2

Disable everything and set everything to 0 in Group Policy Management.

 password3

Now you can change to any password as you like and never expired.

      This article is about changing password in server while you can still login as administrator. In your case, I guess you need to reinstall your Windows Operating System.
