Linking Excel Cell to another Excel file in OneDrive

This short article shows you to link 2 Excel workbooks in OneDrive is feasible.

I created 2 Excel files in OneDrive one named Book1Linked.xlsx and another named Book1Linking.xlsx.

I then linked a cell B3 in Book1Linking.xlsx to B5 cell in Book1Linked.xlsx without any issue.

The only condition is that you need to use OneDrive app There may be other alternatives that I am not aware of.

    Hey MM.

      Good question KC,
I was a guy that don’t feel comfortable to put stuffs in Cloud before. But think deeper, indeed the Cloud security can be far more secure than any public network in your own company. The moment you have an endpoint for public access, you are bound to network vulnerable. Do you think Microsoft, Amazon, and Google can handle the security better than the company like Axx? 😉
